In my lifetime I've probably gone through at least a dozen tools that LOOKED like your Telescoping Ratchet Lopper, but oh what a difference I found when I used it. It was SO easy to use. I did ten times what I'd normally do and my muscles aren't even twinging today. I bought it because a friend has had one for years that they use professionally. They swear by the things, said they had out-lasted every other tool they had. It seems I find a use for my Lady Ratchet Lopper almost every day. I use and abuse it and it just keeps working. It is SO easy to use. I never thought I'd say this about a tool, but I love it. Now I own a soil scoop and a pair of the Nitril gloves. Those gloves are the best I've ever owned. I've washed, worn, weeded, washed and worn again. I plan to buy one of those fold-up wheel barrow's (WheelEasy) next. - Janet D., GA

Remember those ergonomic ratchet pruners I wrote about last February? They allowed me to cut green twigs an inch thick with one hand — effortlessly. I offered the Web site (www.horizonsltd.com) so you could purchase your own pair. Well, they broke. So I called the company, based in Georgia, and spoke to the young receptionist. She asked me how they broke and I was about to reply when I heard a voice in the background yell, “We don’t care how they broke. We replace them no questions asked, just get the mailing address.” She did and a week later, I had a new pair and a prepaid mailer to send the broken ones back. That sort of service is so unusual that I wanted to pass it on so that Horizons Limited gets credit and perhaps some more business.

Charlie & Jenny said... We have a Weedeater on wheels I got last year. The head on it has been a pain to change line. It just came apart at last. I went to Wal-mart to see what kind of replacement heads they had. I bought one of those as seen on TV heads. I installed it and started out only to change the lines with the ball on them 4 times in about 30 feet of cutting. I took it back and bought a Pivotrim. I didn't think it looked that great with that small line and all. I found that everything about your replacement head is outstanding. I have done a lot of trimming and I'm still on my first set of lines. The only downside is I don't get all the rest breaks I did before. It just keeps on cutting and cutting. The best thing I have bought in years.

Billy - Dickinson, TX said... The first time I used the PivoTrim I wasn't sure how well it would really work. However, once I started using it I was very impressed. I have a lot of chain link fence and I was able to trim all 250 feet without stopping. I would recommend this product to anyone who does a lot of trimming. John Andrews said... I am very happy with my pivotrim trimmer head. I used to get really aggrivated with the spool system. This one is much easier to load and last a really long time. Last time out I cut my whole yard and never had to mess with the line. Much better than the old systems. March 18, 2007 8:07 AM
