These loppers only weigh a pound but they are definitely not feather-weights when it comes to performance! The ratchet gear allows you to cut limbs and small trees up to 1 and 1/4 inches thick with very little effort. As you walk up the ratchet gear it forces the blade through gradually making a smooth cut that is healthy for your trees and shrubs and easy on you. They are made of a strong nylon polymer (the same stuff they make football helmets out of). The polymer can take an extreme amount of torque and allows us to keep the weight at one pound. |
The blade is made out of triple tempered steel and all pins and attachments are made of stainless steel.
